Windows Hyper V 2008 A Look Inside

Microsofts final version of it has been made available for download late autumn 2008. No we are not talking about the latest update to the Xbox 360 interface featuring avatars! The focus here is on Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V.

There was a keynote speech delivered by Steve ballmer the CEO of Microsoft. He was delivering his speech to over 700 IT staff when he announced the release of this product. Fortunately I had a sneak peak at the cool features provided by hyper v. Things such as migration of live accounts and the distribution on memory to say the very least.

There is no doubt about the potential of the technology that is virtualisation. We all know that VMware has been the dominant force in the market for quite some time, however it would be naive to not consider the aspects that Windows 2008 hyper v offers. As it may just be what your business requires to get to the next step.

What is VOIP PBX?

These days, most people are familiar with VOIP even if they don’t recognize the word. Voice over Internet Protocol is something that many of us use from time to time or even on a daily basis. Services like Skype are a good example of a VOIP system.

Just What is a PBX? PBX refers to Private Branch Exchange, which sounds a little confusing, but is basically a method of switching phone lines back and forth to connect them in the world of offline communication. When referring to VOIP, the system is essentially the same in concept, only it works over a LAN or WAN network. These are data-oriented rather than circuit switched networks which we use in the real world phone systems.

Shoot To Kill: A man is caught breaking into his own jewelry story. Once questioned, it is revealed that his wife has been kidnapped, and he needs the jewels to pay the ransom. Now the FBI is on the case, but the kidnapper escapes. FBI agent Warren Stantin recruits local John Knox to help on the hunt. He is needed as they are going into the deep forest to hunt the kidnapper down.
